Yemen is experiencing the world’s worst food security crisis with almost two-thirds of the population requiring immediate food assistance to survive.
It is robbing children from their childhood - for a child dies every ten minutes in Yemen.
Six years of armed conflict has KILLED OVER 18,400 PEOPLE. And counting.
One in four displaced families are headed by women.
They have no choice but to carry the burden of homelessness, poverty and starvation while taking on the responsibility to sustain their families. They alone are left to care for their own children as well as others - whose families died in conflict.

It is robbing women and young girls of their security.
Rather than pursuing education, many girls are married off young in order to stabilize the family and to cope with hunger. Violence and abuse are widespread and go largely unreported.
They have no clean water and sanitation, leading to more illnesses and infections.
They do not have access to basic services such as running hospitals, schools, and essential services.
Rubble of destroyed infrastructure litter the streets - a constant reminder of a country in ruin.
Many children have become recruits for soldiers or are married off at a young age to stabilize the family.

Without immediate help, even surviving is a threat for the people of Yemen.
The people of Yemen are more than a statistic.
Their heartbreaks are many.
Imagine losing everything and everyone you loved. These people had dreams just like us, homes and families just like us - before they became victims of a conflict beyond their control.
The people of Yemen know all too well the pangs of hunger, covering their protruding ribs and wiping tears from their skeletal faces - the haunting face of hunger.
Their pain is heavy.
They know all too well what it feels like to be cold when they are shivering in refugee camps, displaced and homeless - with only the clothes on their backs.
They know all too well the face of grief when yet another child, or mother, or father dies. And their family becomes smaller and smaller. Until they disappear.
As humanity, we cannot allow this to continue. WE MUST DO BETTER THAN THIS.
